The gospel of Jesus Christ certainly is simple, but its application is complex and robust enough to address the diversity of everyone who applies it.
If we insist on coloring everything a prophet does as being necessarily conservative or necessarily liberal then we’ll miss out on the larger picture of what God is doing.
We have to see others not as the source of our pain, but as flawed human beings also in pain and need of help from divinity. To do this we have to let go of our hurt. We need to freely forgive.
